<p>They came from outside, entered the city and seduced the people. They tried to please everyone, but no one understood their plans. Communication was through nods and gestures. Little by little, centuries-old communities were removed from their territory to make way for space plans. It is difficult to know what is fiction and reality in this location hidden in the interior of Brazil. Space Invasion is a drama of absurd, but very real, magical realism.</p>

<p>Yeda, a green woman, sells homemade bread and cookies to support the house where she lives with her sick husband. Through the context of green people, we learn about the reality of those who live on the margins of a purple society, which naturally segregates people with green faces.</p>

<p>The totalitarian government of a dystopian future controls the flow of information, and people begin to mysteriously disappear. The Algorithm is able to investigate the digital lives of citizens, steal their data and set alerts for potentially subversive individuals. Nicole, an 18-year-old veterinary student, begins to have her life investigated by this Algorithm.</p>

Between guilt and madness, Aguilar has multiple visions of the organism, which is believed to be hidden in his ship, and sinister conversations with the body of his captain.</p>

<p>Video games owe a lot to cinema, and cinema owes a lot to science. Scientific films and their lenses were the necessary basis for cinema to happen, when microscope and telescope lenses were more famous than camera lenses. From one end of history to the other, we compare whether the images created by a game resemble the images viewable through the lenses of science.</p>

Similarly, the fascination with some of the teaching films<br /> can be attributed almost exclusively to the power of their images - images which one has never seen, even in the cinema.</p> <p><strong>Film is.</strong>&nbsp;brings an abundance of these images together. One can feel not only the politics, but also the singular poetry of scientific film, which often makes use of experimental techniques - extreme slow motion, extreme time lapse, telescopic or microscopic camera work, solarising, x-ray film.</p> <p><strong>Film is.</strong>&nbsp;is a poetic film in itself. Just how the various pieces find their own place and rhythm reminds one of modern poetry or the photo work of the American artist John Baldessari. Pictures which, from their origins, have nothing to do with each other, which don&acute;t belong together, are compared, tied together, fused with each other.&nbsp;</p> <p><em>(Alexander Horwath)</em></p> <p>Film is audio- and scopophilia. They explore the establishment of the Banco do Brasil agency in its first building in the city, as well as the architectural details of the building, ultimately discovering that, in the future, the building serves a new function: safeguarding culture and art as the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil.</p>

Sponsored by IBM, it was a groundbreaking exhibit designed by husband and wife team Charles and Ray Eames that included five short animations that explored a handful of mathematical concepts.</p>

<p>O Conto da Caneta is a narrative that explores themes of creativity, inspiration, and the writer&#39;s journey. It uses the metaphor of a pen to illustrate the transformative power of storytelling and the emotional connections between writers and their tools. The pen, symbolic of both creation and the passage of thoughts to paper, serves as a vehicle for expressing the personal struggles and triumphs involved in bringing stories to life.</p>

<p>The film investigates the influence of the Akai MPC on music production, especially in hip-hop and electronic music, showing how it empowered artists to create new sounds and reshaped the music industry.</p>

<p>MARTE/LOGA is an essay on appropriation that reflects on humans and their projections on the red planet. The film addresses the relationship between Brazil and Mars, featuring images by artist Henrique Alvim Correia, who illustrated Wells&#39; book War of the Worlds , embodying the first Martians in an image-based way. Correia&#39;s Martians inspired Spielberg in his 2005 version of War of the Worlds. There is speculation that the Red Star is not only the origin of communist symbols around the world, but also represents the utopia of early 20th century socialism, in addition to the red fear of the Cold War. In Brazil, Mars is projected in Niemeyer&#39;s architecture, in the music of Elis Regina, Caetano Veloso and Beth Carvalho, in addition to the Martian expedition of Mato Grosso reported by the Italian-Mexican writer Narciso Genovese. From a phase of telescopic observation, when Tesla and Marconi believed they could communicate with the Martians, science advances to a robotic phase that disproves the presence of inhabitants, presenting an arid and desert planet in a 20th century ecological exploration. The film reflects on the transmitted image of Mars that is composed of mosaics similar to medieval stone tablet cartographies and the computer-generated images that are treated as a counter-field of reality. In addition to an interview with the Mars Institute/NASA, the film ends with a lesson from a Martian.</p>
