<p>In the not-too-distant future an obsessive, genius programmer sacrifices everything to build a computer of unprecedented power. <p>After witnessing a crime in London and looking for a place to hide for a while, Arnaut is offered a job by charming yet ruthless local Vesna to look after a cemetery in a small remote village in Serbia. <p>Documentary filmmaker Rodney Ascher tackles this question &quot;are we living in a simulation?&quot; with testimony, philosophical evidence and scientific explanation in his for the answer.</p>

<p>Alien On Stage is a documentary about a unique crew of bus drivers from Dorset, whose amateur dramatics group decide to ditch doing another pantomime and try something different. Having never done anything like it before, they spent a year creating a serious adaptation of the sci-fi, horror film, Alien (1979); finding ingenious solutions to pay homemade, homage to the original film. The show is a crushing flop but fate gives them a second chance to find their audience. Whilst still adjusting to the idea that their serious show is actually a comedy, the group find out they&#39;re suddenly being whisked from their village hall to a London West End theatre to perform this accidental masterpiece for one night only. With wobbly sets, awkward acting and special effects requiring &#39;more luck than judgment&#39;, will their West End debut be alright on the night? This bus driving crew are our space heroes. Their bus station is our space station. Dorset is outer-space and where is the Alien? It&#39;s behind you.</p>

<p>George Hellas, after a sad childhood and a tragic accident, becomes a robot. Through voices, memories, images, the film traces George&rsquo;s life and his traumas, which led him to take his own life and to be reconfigured in the body of a robot, with a positronic brain that still contains memories from his human past.</p>

<p>The film shows two worlds, two cities, who seem to exist independently from one another but indeed they communicate through passages, space-time tunnels, bridges between two different dimensions. They are two opposite worlds, utopian and dystopian, and they will, at the end, unify in a &ldquo;crossbred&rdquo; world.</p>

<p>A young woman called Andrea jumps to her death from the third floor of an apartment block in Vienna. A little earlier: the same apartment block is home to Nick, a chef, and Anna, who writes children&lsquo;s books. <p>Pays de Gex, on the French-Swiss border. P.A. and his homies are in their last year of high school.
