Camp Widow is a gathering for widowed people by widowed people. Over the course of three days, attendees speak candidly about death, forge connections with others over shared experiences of loss, and find ways to navigate the tricky waters of grief. Founded by Michele Neff Hernandez, who suddenly became a widow at age 35, the camp offers a way to both recognize tremendous loss, while at the same time celebrating continued life. The film follows an ensemble of campers who are weary of platitudes about grief, and speak to one another from a place of radical honesty that is by turns heartbreaking and darkly hilarious, embracing irreverent humor as a cathartic means of self-expression.

EchoVision' is a mixed reality experience that allows participants to experience the world of bats using sound visualization. With a series of custom-designed, bat-shaped headsets from the open-source HoloKit, people can echolocate like bats. People scream and see the environment bouncing back to navigate in darkness. With AI, we get to correlate bat calls with certain behaviors such as mating or kissing. We composed these AI-categorised bat calls into baby bat lullaby, love songs, etc and set against their natural habitats. Inspired by Thomas Nagel's "What Is it Like to Be a Bat?", 'EchoVision' delves into the mystery of understanding the experiences of other species.

Face Jumping' is an interactive, eye-tracked VR experience that lets the player swap perspectives by making eye contact with characters, animals, and objects. The game explores the desire and impossibility of seeing through the eyes of another. Jump from mind to mind as you seek enlightenment. Gaze out from a tree's knots, and time speeds up. Look through a robot's eyes, and the world is filtered through computer vision. Slip into a dog's perspective, and scent becomes a portal to other worlds. This experience invites players to reflect on the act of seeing and being seen, evoking questions about perception, consciousness, and how we connect to others through a glance.

In 'Fly To You', 85-year-old Kang Songjeol carries lifelong regret over her last words to her cousin Saetbyul before her family's sudden escape from North Korea in 1950. At 11, she shouted in anger, "Don't ever come back!"—words that haunted her for seven decades. Memories of their seaside village, where pollack hung thick in the sky, bring both solace and torment. Through intimate reflections and poetic imagery, the story reveals how war tore families apart overnight, leaving dreams as their only bridge. As time slips away, Songjeol's plea to meet Saetbyul "even if just in dreams" captures the enduring pain of a nation divided by ideology and war.

Alex a young actress, is raped at a New Year's Eve party but cannot identify her attacker. When she turns to her brother Adrian for help and support, he reacts by questioning and pressuring her. Alex distances herself from her brother and everything she knows. For a year she lives in solitude with disgust, shame and guilt. Adrian, consumed by rage, makes his own decisions on an increasingly dark path, far from what Alex needs. Meanwhile, she finds in theatre the only way to channel her pain and anger, playing the vengeful character of Medea.

"The Art of Change", an Audio Visual VR experience, has been selected for the 81th La Biennale di Venezia. We're honored to be showcasing it at the Venice Immersive Official Competition.
"The Art of Change" was born from Droeloe's mind as a concept music album illustrated by Funilab. Simone Fougnier and DROELOE Vincent Rooijers collaborated on the visual world-building and that work culminated into a standalone VR animated short.
"The Art of Change" is a deeply personal, audio-visual journey that traverses time and space. The project interweaves tape-recorded messages from various life stages within the music, narrating a woman's story as she communicates with herself across time.

Address Unknown： Fukushima Now is an immersive VR documentary that takes audiences to the heart of Fukushima to meet the survivors living in the shadow of the crisis today. Using volumetric capture & photogrammetry technology, the project transports viewers into an experience that explores the disaster and the lasting impact it's had on communities and the environment. We reveal how a community endures in the aftermath of trauma and recalls memories of homes they can longer return to. Through local voices, the experience also examines the meaning of home and how it may be redefined in the face of disaster.

Future Botanica' connects digital nature to various physical locations and forms of nature. It serves as a growing database of new life forms, future speculations, and stories about nature created with and by people. In FB, the user becomes a planter, designing an ecosystem with non-existent digital plants and organisms and planting them in the existing physical nature. This act plants ideas, concepts, and stories about how we perceive future nature. Using AR and AI, the current state of nature blends with designs, ideas, stories, and speculations about the future state of the location. As a user/planter, you can play and learn how ecosystems work, experiencing and envisioning the future.

Martin Pistorius, a bright 12 year old boy living in South Africa, fell into a mysterious vegetative state as a child. Three years later, he woke up without any memories and unable to communicate. Starting from zero, he began to teach himself about the world and who he was. He was in a very real sense, a living ghost. Unaware that he understood everything happening around him, his caretakers gave him an unobstructed look at the way people act when no one is watching. Employing an expressive, dream-like style to recreate Martin's journey through layers of consciousness and memory, GHOST BOY is the story of Martin's journey back to the world, building a life and finding love and meaning.

An enigmatic system fulfills all their needs - providing food, entertainment and a daily routine focused on wellness affirmations. Soon, cracks begin to appear in this idyllic picture: using a "touch language" - as some things can't be said out loud, secretly practicing how to die, which is supposed to be their ticket to "another place". Long-suppressed anger and a desperate need to escape emerge. Will the girls, raised in perpetual immaturity, be able to overcome the fear?

Honey Fungus' is an interactive VR experience where users are guided by a queer, sentient mycelial entity through vignettes based on the fungal reproductive cycle. Across multiple scenes, users are invited to engage in sensory interactions that shape and transform the environment. As they progress, they encounter spores that reveal the earth's hidden vitality and erotic potential, speaking through poetic passages generated by training AI on a unique blend of Smithsonian field research and amateur erotica. In these spaces, the scientific merges with the sensual, opening possibilities for new forms of ecological stewardship and mutual care between human and non-human life.

But what if you didn't have a good weekend... and that created a tear in the work/life balance that keeps your office running? Because with everyone back to work in person, you're with your Office Family more than your Real Family. You turn on "work mode" every morning, and sometimes it's hard to turn it back off. "How Was Your Weekend?" is about the relationship we share with work, with each other, what we bring home with us, and what we take back to the office — the surreal horror that comes from personal spilling into the workplace.

"Sonidos del Bosque" was born under the idea that looking closer to ourselves might be a good start to understand who we are and what we need. The story follows Miguel, he is an office worker that lives lost in the monotony of his work. One regular day he starts experiencing daydreaming. Through his visions he has contact with a free and wild version of himself. As the visions intensify, Miguel finds a portal in the bathroom, which transports him to the forest where he starts a journey that will help him to reconnect with nature and with himself

"Neuro" begins with a brief, dream-like glimpse at the wedding of both Julie and Peter. In their hotel room that night, Peter suffers a seizure which creates an unfortunate rift between the newlyweds. After an introduction to Neuro via a period-accurate documentary, the two await their procedure. Despite voicing his skepticism, Peter agrees to proceed with the treatment, however, another seizure interrupts the process. This leads to an incomplete procedure for Peter as he discovers the darker side to the company and it's history.

How can listeners connect to music in an age of streaming anonymity? 'A Number from the Ghost' is an innovative multimedia project created by artist and musician Peter Adams that builds a virtual environment for listening. The web-based experience allows players to explore a series of interactive music videos inspired by dreams, memories, technology, and the surreal. Wander through a shifting landscape of hallucinatory museums, cosmic marshes, vine-covered halls, and chrome towers in a genre-defying melding of video games, short film, and generative art.

Origins' is an awe-inspiring immersive film that takes visitors through life's epic journey. Across four captivating chapters, it traces the story from the birth of the universe, the formation of the sun and earth, the emergence of complex organisms, to the first forms of life. With stunning visual art and immersive soundscapes, the experience masterfully blends science and art to tell the extraordinary tale of our origins, inspiring reflection on nature's beauty. This international collaboration showcases visual art by the renowned digital artists Markos Kay, Martin Salfity, Thomas Vanz, Davy Evans, Gokhan Tekin, Susi Sie, Teun van der Zalm and Roman Hill.

For ten grueling nights, an eclectic group of amateur hunters confront the dangerous terrain, nocturnal creatures and their own tiny demons. Meanwhile, one professional hunter leads the charge to undermine the competition, questioning what hides beneath the python mania gripping the 'glades.
