<p>Sarah-Rose Meredith is a Brooklyn-based writer/director who recently received her M.F.A from the Graduate Film Program at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Prior to NYU, Sarah-Rose earned bachelors’ degrees in physics and film at UC Santa Cruz, and worked in first-amendment and environmental law. She has written and directed a number of films, including PLAN B, her thesis film about a young couple racing through the desert in search of emergency contraception. PLAN B received the SAG Indie Audience Choice Award, the Wasserman Directing Award, the Chris Columbus Production Award, and numerous Faculty Awards at the First Run Film Festival. It has screened at several festivals including the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. She is currently co-writing a feature script with Michael Rossetti, about a young woman search of her missing father, which has been awarded financial support by the Sloan Foundation, and is a finalist for their Feature Film Production Grant.</p>
