The International Film and TV School (EICTV) is considered one of the most important audiovisual training institutions in the world. It was created by the Latin American Filmmakers Committee, as a subsidiary of the New Latin American Cinema Foundation and with the support of the government of the Republic of Cuba. It was inaugurated on December 15, 1986.
