About
The Collectif Jeune Cinéma is a cooperative of filmmakers founded in Paris on June 12, 1971. Its mission is to distribute, promote and archive different and experimental films as well as all forms of experimental practices of image and film. The CJC organizes the Paris Festival of Different and Experimental Cinema each year, and schedules regular screenings each month in Paris or Île-de-France. Its catalog covers a very broad spectrum of international cinematic aesthetics and practices. It is notably the only one to include experimental films made by children and young filmmakers (under 18 years old).
