Yasaman Alipour is a Los Angeles-based Iranian artist, educator, and filmmaker. Her practice expands on photography, video, and installation. Alipour's work explores the concept of place and its multiple layers, offering a poignant reflection on the intersections of identity, displacement, and memory.

Alipour's work has been exhibited several times at venues including California Institute of The Arts, CA, US; Mahe-Mehr Gallery.

She is the recipient of multiple awards, including a 2021 Allan Sekula Social Documentary Grant, a 2022 Bartman Fund, and a 2022 Patty Disney Travel Grant. Alipour holds an MFA in Photography and Media from the California Institute of The Arts where she also taught as a Special Visiting Faculty in Fall 2023.
