About

I am a transdisciplinary artist who thinks and writes about place, marginalized landscapes, sustainability, mapping, consumption, and agriculture. I create installations, sculpture, videos, and relational performances. My work has been exhibited in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, Spain, and Croatia. I am an associate professor at the University of Florida. Recent partners and collaborators include Working Food, a community resource for educating people about sustainability and local food, Field and Fork Campus Food Program, UF School of Forest Resource and Conservation, UF Office of Sustainability and Alachua County Public libraries. I taught English in Japan and also participated in a USIA teacher exchange at Kinnaird College in Lahore, Pakistan. I served as an educator at the Virginia Museum of Fine Art, traveling to rural counties with the Artmobile teaching K-12 workshops as well as creating exhibition-related programming to encourage the community to visit and become involved in art museums.
