About

I am a PhD student in neuroscience at NYU using computational modeling to study how fairly simple interactions between neurons can give rise to complex phenomenon like our ability to keep rhythm for music. I made a short film called " A Sentimal Science" as part of the 2020 Symbiosis competition that explored the idea of how neurons encode our experiences. I have also been awarded a grant in 2023 to work on a film exploring the intersection of biological memory and collective memory. I am very excited about using scientific ideas to reflect on our selves and our experiences through film. I am actively looking for collaborators, so if you have ideas or want to come up with some together, do reach out!
