About

I have been making films for over 50 years. About ten years ago I turned my attention to science documentaries (I have a degree in Biology) to help people understand what science is and how a systemic understanding of life and science is crucial if we are to solve the myriad problems that confront us. These days I am particularly motivated to point out that most of what we hear in the media about science is scientism (generally promoted by political and corporate interests), and that we must look beyond the dogmatic beliefs that are thrust upon us.  In particular, the very limited and limiting popular and political narrative about the causes and solutions to the climate change is heading us down a blind alley.
