Jaime L. Jacobsen is an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and professor at Colorado State University who is passionate about using film to engage communities in the pressing issues of our times. Her recent feature length-documentary, The Last Artifact (2020) has screened at festivals, conferences, on public television stations in over 40 countries, and her film Finding Traction (2015) was featured on Netflix and Amazon Prime. Currently she is working on a new interactive, co-created documentary, La Venezuela de mi Corazón, which will feature the stories of Venezuelan immigrants and asylum seekers in the Rocky Mountain West. Jacobsen lives in Fort Collins with her husband and two young children.
