Graham holds a Master of Arts Degree in Public Art Practice & Theory, Chelsea School of Art, UK. With over 30 years’ experience, he has established a reputation as a leader in site-specific public art, placemaking and cultural planning.

After working on high profile projects in the UK, Graham relocated his multi-disciplinary practice to Australia and co-founded arts consultancy Placebo Culture from 1998-2004, prior to forming Vertebrae in 2004-present.

Graham thinks big picture, with a focused eye for detail, that is coupled with a passion for defining and connecting diverse contexts through research and a community driven consultative process.

As a skilled trainer and educator, Graham facilitates creative engagement and strategy workshops for business, government and communities. He sits on several advisory boards and is a regular speaker at national and international conferences in a wide range of disciplinary fields.
