Campbell Watson is a Research Scientist at IBM Research in New York and a global theme lead in Accelerated Discovery—Climate & Sustainability. He's leading a team of scientists across IBM's global research labs to develop scalable technologies for predicting the impacts of climate change and optimizing systems for carbon performance.

Campbell also serves as PI for research projects with the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab, the IBM-Illinois Discovery Accelerator Institute, and the IBM-Mila AI Horizons Network. He's associate editor of the new AMS journal "Artificial Intelligence for the Earth Systems" and enjoys helping the team at Climate Change AI.
