Alejandra was born in Mexico City. She began working in documentary filmmaking as assistant director in the short film 400 Meters, selected in 10 festivals. Her passion for biology took her closer to researching the biggest ecosystems in Mexico, amongst which is Xochimilco, where she fell in love with the Axolotls.
