While making a research on the visual power of the human eye, Dr. James Xavier discovers a radioactive preparation capable of increasing man’s sight indefinitely. However his experiments do not receive any support from the Foundation he works for, and therefore he decides to test his invention upon himself, although Diane, his fiancée and his friend Brant try desperately to discourage him. At the hospital where he has moved, Xavier begins to see inside the patients’ bodies, but nobody believes in his power, and Brant tries once more to prevent him from continuing his insane experiments. The film was awarded the Silver Spaceship in 1963.
