Hedgehog populations have fallen to 10% since the 1950s, with tens of thousands dying under cars each year. The film follows the most endangered species for whom asphalt is both a barrier and a death sentence, highlighting wildlife crossings, amphibian underpasses, landscape restoration, and human responsibility toward animals seeking safety.
