From the producers of the award-winning NETFLIX Originals “Ravenous” (“Les Affamés”) comes V F C, a psychological horror feature blending traditional filmmaking with cutting-edge biofeedback audio technology. Inuk folk singer Elisapie Isaac makes her feature film debut as Sylvania, a female neuroscientist who sees her life turned upside down after she develops a rare form of melophobia (fear of music). Viewers are watching the same film while listening to an augmented soundtrack generated in real time that reflects their evolving cognitive state, using a EEG headset and a pair of bone conduction headphones. A companion web app then allows viewers to get a postscreening account of how unique their experience was, through user-friendly data visualizations, average group results and scientific groundings. V F C is designed to be experienced in film theatres and digital art spaces.
