This work uses data captured by the AEgIS experiment at CERN (studying how antimatter responds to gravity) and re-presents it as a time-lapse animation of particle tracks. The artists used large-scale microscope scans of photographic plates (ionised by particle collisions) to create an animation that moves through the depth and layers of the emulsion and reveals otherwise invisible physical phenomena.
