Blue For You is a haunting meditation on longing and obsession. The film follows Consuelo, a legendary actress who seems to share a tender, dreamlike love with the mysterious Carzio, until unsettling signs reveal a shadow closing in on her world. In the final turn, we learn we were never in Consuelo’s perspective but in Carzio’s: an obsessed paparazzi who built a fantasy romance to feel close to her. The shadow is him. There was never a relationship, only delusion spiraling into danger.
