The film follows Drea, a down-on-her-luck poet navigating her grandmother’s passing among a distant family unwilling to bridge her world as a Deaf, queer artist. When her father, temporarily released from prison to say goodbye to his late mother, arrives at the gathering, Drea is forced to confront buried tensions and find connection.
