Bev’s back garden is nothing like yours - it is actually the only pigeon rescue in Bristol, UK. The Alice in Wonderland themed green space is host to all kinds of pigeons (even some exotic ones!) that are being nursed back to health.

No matter how unpopular pigeons are, they - like all other animals according to Bev - ‘’deserve our love and our help’’. With their thriving population, pigeons are often in conflict with human activity and thus a lot end up needing some help to get back on their feet.

While Bev deems her rehabilitation center a ‘’success’’ some pigeons unfortunately never find their way back to freedom. Somehow she manages to find joy, humor and magic in her daily routine in spite of the inevitable deaths and sadness that comes with caring for animals.

‘’As long as I give them some life’’ - is the motto she lives by.
