Multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker Isabel Legate (Caltha, IFFR 2025) returns with The Garden, a surrealist reinterpretation of Amor, a short story by Brazilian author Clarice Lispector. The film follows a young woman who, during a routine clothes-shopping trip, loses herself in a dark and mysterious dream world. Rhythmic editing, expressive dance, and a mechanical soundtrack immerse us in a fascinating spectacle that invites reflection on the influence of the capitalist fashion world on how we see ourselves and others.
