Tantura was one of hundreds of villages occupied by Israelis in 1948. In Israel, this period is referred to as a war of independence, while Palestinians call it “Al Nakba”: the catastrophe. Tantura investigates an unacknowledged war crime through the stories of people who were involved. This poignant documentary premiered at Sundance and is now having its Dutch premiere at InScience.
