A video about the proliferation of images and the disappearance of bodies. A series of physical and digital ruptures guides our protagonist through age-old questions on existence.

For locations not captured by Google Street View cameras, people can upload their own photos to the map. These volunteers are instructed to choreograph their own bodies out of the frame, with the goal of producing an “objective” disembodied image, but sometimes clues remain. In Stay With the Body, an off-screen narrator searches for these accidental fragments of photographer’s bodies on street view panorama, certain that their process of visual evaporation will help her solve her own childhood fantasies of disembodiment and mass consciousness.
