SULFUR is an interpretation of the Alchemy theme. The film is based on the theory of the Principles of Ancient Alchemy, whose components are sulfur, mercury and salt. Sulfur and mercury are the two essential elements. They are two opposite but complementary components, "masculine" sulfur and "feminine" mercury. Salt brings these two elements together.
