A profile documentary on Houston, TX-Based Non-Profit, Houston Wilderness, and their efforts to transform the Port of Houston, and greater Houston Region, through the planting of 14 native "Super Tree" species. Our team travelled from Brooklyn, NY down to Houston in order to shoot the documentary last October, and were able to visit and capture various sites of ecological reclaimation and note their impact on the pollution-casuing factors of the region, and their dire consequences in-turn. Houston Wilderness is not only aiming to expand their efforts in Texas, but hopes this work can serve as a model for other cities and their ports seeking to make meanginful change with regard to their enviornmental impact and overall carbon footprint.
