Drawing from Campo Marte in Mexico City—where military ritual and the national sport coexist—the work reimagines the stadium as a battlefield where virility, patriotism, and authority are performed and destabilized.
Performed entirely by former soldiers and professional football players, the installation unfolds through ambiguous choreographies of formation, proximity, and suspended tension. Here, masculinity begins to fracture: what appears as strength reveals fragility; what appears as discipline, desire.
