In 14th century Castille a medieval peasant’s spouse dies from the plague. After the peasant gets infected too, he wanders into the forest to finally rest. In a state of near unconsciousness he sees what appears to be the spirit of his dead wife, who in the blink of an eye, disappears. The peasant will desperately start looking for her not expecting the horrors he is about to encounter.
