Silence IV (Լռության կաթիլային) is an introspective audiovisual work created during the nine-month blockade of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in 2023. Caught between the tension of alarming news from home and the calm of everyday life abroad, Anna Grigorian turns to art to process the split between two realities—war and exile. Using only a cellphone camera and flashlight, she transforms familiar interior surfaces into shifting landscapes of light and shadow. The film serves as both meditation and self-portrait, exploring identity, displacement, and the inner dialogues of diaspora life.
