A film projectionist longs to be a detective, and puts his great skills to work when he is framed by a rival for stealing his girlfriend's father's pocketwatch. His girlfriend solves the crime and he has little luck until he dreams himself into a mystery movie as the renowned detective Sherlock Jr.
