“Seeing Site Sounds” (2023-2024) is a stop-motion film that travels through resounding sounds of an urban landscape. Created with cellophane cutouts on a multiplane camera, the animation draws from visuals of abstract film works of the early to mid-20th century. Seeing Site Sounds expands on the phenomenon of urbanism through daily interactions between sights and sounds in a city. The experimental short illustrates audio recordings from Italy, Canada, and the United States.

Seeing Site Sounds was produced during the artist residency program at the Toronto Animated Image Society (TAIS) in 2023-24.
