Daloy, a Filipina mermaid, has found refuge in the city away from her family’s stifling traditions. One fateful night, her daughter arrives, asking her to return to their world. Daloy is reluctant, yet years of unanswered questions made her admit she needs to make up for lost time. When they reach the sea, Daloy realizes she can no longer swim.
