The film opens with a black board and white title, accompanied by a 440 Hz square-wave control signal. A blue screen with slight grain appears, then a bass-drum-like beat begins and the colour shifts between blue and red, passing through various hues. The irregular rhythm, tempo undulations, stroboscopic effects and sudden jumps reflect a kind of electrical or mechanical anxiety. After two minutes a black screen and control signal interrupt the process before it returns.
