Not Built to Last is a short film set against the architectural backdrop of Rotterdam, written and directed by Turkish-Dutch architect and filmmaker Deniz Arikan. The story follows Emre, an architect from Istanbul, and Daniel, a Dutch architect. What begins as a professional encounter gradually becomes something personal as the day progresses. This is an intimate short film about identity, desire, and connection. Two men walk through Rotterdam, and what begins as a chance encounter blossoms into a meaningful connection that continues to resonate.
