Noma Tongues is an audiovisual promenade through a responsive world. Performed in real time, the piece follows a winged wanderer as a digital revenant flying over different landscapes, returning to what’s changed or disappeared.

The electro-acoustic music merges contemporary electronic processing with vocal idioms drawn from Chinese ethnic minority traditions. Evoking the resonant textures of the Dong Chorus and the surrounding biophony, it reconfigures folk polyphony and natural sound into a spectral tapestry — where ancestral voices and migratory memory converge in a sonic ritual of place and passage.
