It’s a film about an architectural prototype I made in Paris. Architectural form is 3D composed of imaginable geometric planes, lines with precise thickness and materiality. Architects are the protagonists who give physical forms. Worldmaking has happened since the beginning of constructive behavior. In-between physical and cyber world, linearity could be synthetic and replace thickness therefore, spatiality yet keeping structural variations. The form itself reaches a stochastic state transformable to music and sonic entities, according to Iannis Xenakis. 104 in Paris is a dance hall, the freestyle dancers use their fluid body movements and mixed hip-hop songs form a special atmosphere that I find this prototype natural to belong. In this film, I gave this Noise Machine a rebirth echoing to the light, sound, and movements as an analog 3D score. In my next project, biotechnology shall be used to make it automatically sensible resembling an oyster’s biochemical mechanism.
