"No River Protects Me from Myself" takes as its starting point the mysterious theft of footage shot in the Central African Republic, in the tropical rainforest of the Congo Basin. The footage offers a response to the conflicts arising from the fragile and transsubjective encounter with the "non-self," which can only be practiced or experienced: if one attempts to virtualize it, it ceases to exist.
