LUMBER is an LGBTQIA+ romantic drama following a quiet recluse lumberjack living a lonely life at his lumbermill in rural Queensland. He goes to a gay bar for the first time in hopes to find love. Stepping outside of the comfort of his cosy country cottage, the lumberjack dives into the deep end of life as a gay man over the span of one night; enduring drunk attempts at flirting, witnessing casual acts of oral sex and confronting aggressive homophobia. Through all the struggles and turmoil, he makes it out on the other side, finding a silver lining of hope for his love life from an unlikely stranger.
