N’Tjo Deba returns to his ancestral village, Sanko, after his father's death only to find his uncles scheming for the inheritance. As the village’s imam also dies, a fierce succession battle erupts among three candidates. Caught in the middle, N’Tjo becomes entangled in religious extremism and community tensions. Through his personal journey, the film explores power, faith, and social cohesion.
