Ladies, There Is a Space You Can’t Go (1995) is a 5-minute experimental video that deconstructs and distorts an episode of the talk show Sally Jesse Raphael titled My Daughter Dresses Like a Hooker. Sampled audience statements and a driving dance beat merge with distorted talk show participants, creating a provocative, self-mutilating music video. The daughters "exhibited" walk through the audience as if it were a runway, performing for a mob of angry women who issue relentless threats, blending feminism, media critique, and performative spectacle. Screened in the 1997 Whitney Biennial.
