New York, 1927. An aspiring model goes to have her picture taken, but a camera can have a mind of its own.
Shot on 16mm and developed and processed by hand, "Into The Silver Ether" is a silent horror short that investigates the myth of photography at the beginning of the 20th century. It wants to be discovered as a forgotten film, lost to time in a suitcase that may have belonged to Jean Epstein, Germaine Dulac, or Carl Theodor Dreyer.
