In the future, the world is run by the FOS Network, the posterity to the preceding GPT Program. The potential of this FOS artificial intelligence; or what many thought to be man-made, has yet to be tested as its origins are yet to be known. In such a discovery, mankind has rushed the development of bioelectronics, forfeiting the intelligently automated (IA) smart devices of the previous decade in favor of the artificially intelligent (AI) FOS integrated neurally implanted devices (brain-chips) with a potential for telepathy and much more, yet to be unlocked by further research of this super-intelligent entity. Dr. Halvorsen and his batch of scientists perform trials and experiments with Dr. Hartman to procure more information as to the origins and intent of FOS's motives, leading them to believe, through the access granted by the attached implants, it has manipulated certain parts of the human brain allowing not only telepathy but precognition and clairvoyance; freezing certain objects in time to allow Hartman to form a symbiosis with FOS to traverse the transverse between their minds. Quantum clocks are ticking, time crystals are melting, can Hartman find peace with himself after allowing FOS to incubate its subminds in his mind, or will he find a way to reverse it? Will Dr. Halvorsen ever forgive himself for placing the time crystals in the same facility as the FOS experiments? Or was this his original intent?
