Vortex spirals around the self and the other self — between what is seen and what is hidden, between being lost and being found. As identities attempt to rise to the surface, they confront the contradiction of becoming visible or sinking into what they’ve left behind. It reflects the struggle of fragmented selves to construct identity in spite of the parts that have drowned. And when they fail to do so, identity dissolves into a nowhere space — a liminal zone of absence and disorientation. Set in a city that forgets, Vortex becomes a meditation on presence, memory, and the quiet collapse of selfhood.
