After a happy childhood in the countryside, Jacob—the director's animated alter ego—and his parents move to a Chinese megalopolis. There, he becomes aware of his ethnicity through the racism he experiences at school. He then decides to escape, at the cost of isolation and solitude. A delicate animation work that evokes the pain of exile.
