Neon Spores is a nahual film, a totem and stone, a broken mirror, a seed, an inscription. Underground tunnels connecting ancient times and spaces. Between plateaus and memories of other seas and other moons, elements of speculative fiction, imaginary archaeologies, and the painstaking collection of sherds and other embedded materials. Excavation cinema, a cinema that moves the ground to invariably find dead bodies and incomplete stories. S8 and 16mm film finished digitally (B/W processed by hand).
