The Kiss is the story of Paolo, a museum guard who watches over the itinerant sculpture of Rodin, Le Baiser (The Kiss). Through this daily action of having to watch the eternal kiss, Paolo is confronted with his deeper longing, to experience romantic love.

The Kiss explores the magical relationship that emerges between the work of art and the observer.
