The artist dances through a shifting field of distortion, movements obscured and emotional, yet precise and intentioned. The image warps like old 78’s hazily remembered, shaped by memory, electricity, and the hum of unseen machines. Built from field recordings of beeps, breath, a ceiling fan, and synthesis, the sound design becomes the soul of the piece, grounding the dancing and yet transcendent. The dancer blooms, dissolves, distorts and returns while the sound suggests fleeting remnants of both digital life and old nostalgia. This film is a meditation on presence and absence, where perception is untethered and sound becomes a spiritual current, moving through space and into the reservoir of the impermanent self.
