Spheres of reality in conflict. Nature being structured in the mode of logic and science, and human affairs in the mode of story and narrative. Branching out through the forking canopy, a chorus of groaning trees beckons as the light refracts illuminating portals for one to enter.

The imagery was achieved in-camera with a homemade lens made with prisms. The chromatic shafts of light and visible layers play out in real-time as the light waves split, bend, and refract through the prism. No double exposures or superimpositions were added. The sound was recorded on-site with contact microphones that focused on surface vibrations emanating from within the trees. The microphones were directly placed on or inside existing holes within the trunk.
