Almost images extracted with violence and force, from the first to the last step of manipulation. Unlike how fracking operates on the crust, what is stirred is the notion of an already given cinema. Each image, each sound is the result of a geological combat. Neon Crystals is a mixed, motley, audio-visible taffy. 35mm, 16mm, Super 8, without contours. What sounds in the piece is, among other things, a psychic improvisational session with maestro Steven Brown in his studio.
