"COSMOS CHASERS" is a new documentary short from filmmaker Kevin Stirling that recalls mankind’s fascination with space, astronomy and deep space photography.
COSMOS CHASERS explores the history of astronomy and the early astronomers and the evolution of space photography from NASA’s early Mercury and Gemini flights through the Apollo missions.
The space documentary recalls the significance of the epic photo of Earth, dubbed, “Earth Rise” snapped during the historic Apollo 8 mission, the first time man left the Earth in 1968.
"COSMOS CHASERS" also examines the dawn of deep space astrophotography with the epic Hubble Space Telescope and its spectacular new successor, the James Webb Space Telescope.
